Where does my donation go?

When you donate to Where Most Needed, you allow your money to be used at the charityโ€™s discretion to diverse areas where there may be a shortage of funds, as well as towards natural disasters and emergencies. This helps us greatly to reach out to the poor and needy in all the areas we work in worldwide. Often, these are areas where funds run short and are required immediately, due to the immense need.

For example, when we run a campaign, like our Winter Campaign, which is delivering relief to those who are extremely vulnerable to the harsh weather conditions, we identify the most vulnerable people in those countries. We then also restrict donations to Where Most Needed so we have enough funds to help people in all the countries where the campaign is running. We do this so that we can strive to avoid any particular country receiving less funds than required to meet our quota. This helps us to reach the most vulnerable and work to prevent them from suffering during the critical period of winter.

We have a team that rationally decide where these funds should be allocated, based on where it is most needed at that particular time. The team have knowledge of all our campaigns, are up to date on where there may be a shortage of funds, and will have received a request for funds from our teams on the ground. For example, this could be a shortage of funds on a borehole being built, an orphanage being completed, extra food parcels required, or anything else that Muslim Hands distributes or is involved in building, within the countries where we are able to work. The reward in sha Allah will be for a diverse range of campaigns.

Therefore, we cannot specify exactly where your donation will be spent, but we will always try to provide regular feedbacks to our donors regarding where their donations have been used!
